## Notes from 23 May 2025 [[2025-05-22|← Previous note]] ┃ [[2025-05-24|Next note →]] Came across the [2024 activity report](https://media.licdn.com/dms/document/media/v2/D4E1FAQH-RBI9KNF5IA/feedshare-document-pdf-analyzed/B4EZbYLQmyHcAY-/0/1747383571094?e=1750896000&v=beta&t=MwcBlm-o0VFIumFbCbvz_JJ3BUHNdwtykQvbSLZCo3w) from the French Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports, and Higher Education's Directorate-General for Human Resources (DGRH). I know I'm late to the game, but the report provides a fascinating look into the HR strategy and operations in France. I was impressed by their structured approach to modernizing the HR function, centered on the "[RH26](https://www.education.gouv.fr/la-strategie-rh26-attirer-fideliser-moderniser-450334)" strategy, which aims to align HR management more closely with the needs of its employees. Most compelling to me was seeing how they implement cross-cutting HR professionalization projects at the ground level. The emphasis on principles such as "more individualized management, modernized recruitment, and diversified professional paths" as a core strategic axis is particularly interesting.
